FIesta Wedding Suite

When my husband and I got engaged in 2016, we talked about how fun it would be to have a wedding fiesta, full of all of our favorite things – tacos, churros, elotes, margaritas, and a mariachi band. And once the idea was in our head, we had our sights set on that.

When designing the pieces for our wedding suite, I wanted to infuse my love of line illustration and translate the essence of what we wanted our wedding to be – a big party!

The Save the Date was designed in a postcard format as a nod to our love for travel, with a fun illustration of us with maracas. And I wanted the invitation to be an out-of-the-ordinary experience for the recipient with unconventional folds that reveal the information. These were letterpress printed at Steracle Press in Chicago.
